(Junior) Financial Lines & Cyber Underwriter

Responsibilities

As a (Junior) Financial Lines & Cyber Underwriter, you play a key role in expanding activities within the Benelux region. You support the growth of a solid and profitable portfolio focused on SME D&O and Cyber Insurance. In this position, you collaborate closely with colleagues, brokers, and partners in an international environment.
More specifically, you will:

• Develop new business opportunities in the Benelux market (SME D&O and Cyber).
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers and clients.
• Contribute to strategy, product development, and marketing initiatives to achieve sustainable growth.
• Conduct technical policy analyses and provide advice to clients and internal teams.
• Monitor client retention and drive the growth of new business.
• Manage files efficiently and ensure accurate administrative follow-up.

Profile

You are a motivated professional who enjoys taking responsibility and contributing to the growth of a dynamic organization. With your technical knowledge and commercial mindset, you know how to balance risk, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
You bring:

• Solid knowledge of SME D&O and Cyber Insurance.
• Experience in underwriting or brokerage (Benelux experience is an asset).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
• Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel.
• A positive, proactive attitude and attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking and a structured approach to work.
• Initiative, eagerness to learn, and strong relationship-building skills.
