Your role
As a Claims Handler / Team Leader Personal Injury, you combine in-depth expertise in personal injury claims with a coaching leadership style. You manage complex claims files from A to Z while leading a team of claims handlers and supporting them in their daily work and professional development.
Your responsibilities
Managing and following up personal injury claims from A to Z.
Maintaining contact with all involved parties: insured parties, counterparts, insurers, brokers, doctors, medical experts, and lawyers.
Investigating the cause, origin, and circumstances of claims and determining liability.
Taking and substantiating positions based on policy conditions, legislation, and expert reports.
Negotiating with a focus on efficient and high-quality solutions.
Coordinating legal proceedings or recovery actions against third parties when required.
Ensuring accurate administrative follow-up and meeting deadlines.
Leading, coaching, and developing a team of claims handlers.
Your profile
You hold a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in law.
You have experience in the insurance sector, preferably in personal injury claims.
You communicate fluently in Dutch and have a good command of French and English.
You have strong communication skills and can interact professionally with various stakeholders.
You demonstrate analytical skills, the ability to synthesize information, and decisiveness.
You are team-oriented, service-minded, and have a coaching mindset.
You possess strong leadership and coaching skills.
