For Liberty Specialty Markets Belgium, based in Antwerp, we are looking for an Operations Technician to support and further build the operational activities of the Belgian team.
This is a particularly exciting opportunity as the Belgian structure is still growing. You will have the chance to play a key role in helping shape and optimize the local operational set-up, while being connected to a large international insurance group with strong expertise and support structures worldwide.
The role
As Operations Technician, you will become a central point of contact between underwriting, claims, brokers and international shared service teams.
You ensure the smooth operational follow-up of files, support process quality and contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives. You will work in close collaboration with both local and international stakeholders.

Your responsibilities
Acting as the operational link between underwriting, claims, brokers and shared service teams
Following up operational and administrative queries
Supporting policy issuance and operational workflows
Monitoring data quality and identifying improvement opportunities
Assisting with reporting and operational analysis
Supporting local teams with processes and systems
Coordinating with international teams across Europe and offshore centers
Helping ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Participating in testing and implementation of process or system improvements
Your profile
Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in economics, business, finance or consultancy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment
Hands-on, organized and proactive mindset
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Fluent in Dutch and English
Able to work independently while remaining a strong team player
Experience in insurance, operations, administration or business support is a strong plus.
