Underwriter M&A

Your Role

As an Underwriter, you will assess, price, and manage Title risks across EU jurisdictions in line with established underwriting guidelines. You will contribute to profitable growth while building strong relationships with brokers, lawyers, and clients.

Key responsibilities:

Underwriting Title risks across multiple jurisdictions and policy types

Reviewing and pricing complex cases using sound underwriting judgement

Drafting policy wordings, coverage terms, and exclusions

Negotiating coverage and pricing with brokers and clients

Managing underwriting files, workflow, and reporting

Supporting business development and the annual business plan

Assisting with marketing and client relationship initiatives

Initially, the focus will be on France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with opportunities to broaden your experience across Europe.

Your Profile/You bring:

A strong legal background in real estate, M&A, or permitting, or prior experience underwriting Title risks

Proven ability to analyse and assess complex risks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international team

Fluency in English; additional European language(s) preferred

You thrive in a dynamic, international environment and are motivated to further develop your expertise in Title underwriting.
